Browser extensions privacy
Last updated: 6 October 2026.
This notice covers the NeverZero browser extensions for Chrome: Write for LinkedIn, Tags for LinkedIn, Shelf for LinkedIn, Flow for LinkedIn, Follow for LinkedIn, Mode for LinkedIn and Peek for LinkedIn. The NeverZero website and service have their own privacy notice.
The extensions are published by NeverZero, a service of Podawaa SAS, 6 bis boulevard Berthelot, 34000 Montpellier, France, registered with the Montpellier Trade and Companies Register under number 931 238 976. Contact: [email protected].
The short version
Everything you put in an extension stays in your browser, on your device. The extensions have no server, no account, no cloud sync, no analytics and no advertising. Their pages are not allowed to make network requests. We never receive your data, so we cannot read, sell or share it.
Where your data is stored
In Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage) on the device where you
installed the extension. Peek also keeps the time of each right-click in
session storage, which Chrome erases when the browser closes. Nothing is
synchronised between your devices.
What each extension keeps
- Write for LinkedIn: draft titles and post text that you type, the interface language, and when each draft was created and changed.
- Tags for LinkedIn: contact names, profile links, headlines, tags and notes that you type or import, the interface language, and when each contact was created and changed. A profile link can identify a person: it is stored only on your device.
- Shelf for LinkedIn: links, titles, excerpts you select or paste, notes, folder names and tags that you create, the interface language, and when each item was saved and changed.
- Flow for LinkedIn: the words or phrases of the rules you create with their options, the "Pause all" setting, the interface language and when each rule was created and changed. On LinkedIn, the text of posts already on screen is compared with your rules inside the page and is never stored; only counts of posts checked, hidden and highlighted are kept until the browser closes.
- Follow for LinkedIn: names or labels, optional profile links, contact dates, next-step dates and times with their time zone, statuses, next actions and private notes that you type, the history of your changes, and the interface language.
- Mode for LinkedIn: the option you declare having seen in LinkedIn's profile viewing setting, the date of each declaration, the check frequency, your reminder choice, the interface language, and the time of the last reminder.
- Peek for LinkedIn: the text you select and the link and page addresses Chrome passes when you use its right-click menu, the lines you choose as name and headline, and the interface language.
What the extensions never do
They do not read your LinkedIn account, cookies or messages, do not call any
LinkedIn interface, do not collect pages in the background and do not act on
any website for you. Only Flow can access a website, and only
https://www.linkedin.com/* after you click "Enable on LinkedIn": it hides or
highlights posts already loaded in your feed according to your own rules. You
can withdraw that access at any time with "Disable on LinkedIn" or in Chrome's
extension settings.
Permissions
Each extension asks only for what its features need: storage to keep your
data on the device, sidePanel to show in Chrome's side panel,
contextMenus for the right-click entries, scripting (Flow) to apply your
rules on the page you enabled, and, only if you turn reminders on, alarms
and notifications (Follow and Mode). The Chrome Web Store page of each
extension explains every permission.
Exports and deletion
You can export your data to files that you save yourself. These files are not encrypted: protect them like any personal document. Each extension's settings include a button to delete all its local data, and uninstalling an extension can also delete it.
Legal basis and your rights
Because your data never leaves your device, we do not process it. If you write to us, we use your email and message only to answer you, on the basis of our legitimate interest, and keep them no longer than needed for that exchange. You can ask for access, rectification or erasure of that correspondence at [email protected], and you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
Children
The extensions are not intended for children under 16.

Any change to this notice will be published on this page with its date.
